An indelible graphic for this original 1960s environmental propaganda poster. The 1960's were very important to the environmental movement. It was the first time that
environmental science emerged as its own discipline. The first Water Pollution Control Act was passed in 1952. In 1961, when this poster was created and distributed, that Act was amended. This message in this poster is expressed in five different languages. It is also known as "Rettet das Wasser". In excellent, linen-backed condition.
