"Roussillon. French National Railways". 1952.
39.25" x 24.75"
Desnoyer.
# P-1419
An original French travel poster for the beautiful village of Roussillon, situated in the Luberon region of Provence. Considered a "must-see" for tourists, Roussillon has one of the largest ochre deposits in the world. Because of these deposits, the Roussillon landscape is splattered with rich red and ochre colors. The artist of this poster, Desnoyer, does his job well by "painting" this poster and conveying the rich colors of the cliffs and hill sides. A beautiful stone lithograph in "A" condition. Linen-backed.
