Maurin Quina, 1906
Size: 47 x 63 inches
Artist: Lenoetto Cappiello
Perhaps Cappiello’s most famous poster, this iconic green devil will add a fun and nefarious energy to any bar or entertaining area.
The green devil is reminiscent of la fée verte (the green fairy), the notorious nickname for absinthe. Maurin is the brand name and Quina is the type of alcohol it is. The product has since been reintroduced to both the French and American marketplace, featuring Cappiello’s poster as the label.
